Chris and I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely and formally thank you for selling our home at Casey Street, Bendigo. Selling a home can be an emotional, hectic and stressful time, however through your utmost assistance, it was not a major hassel. Peter, you are one of the few people in real estste that can be totally trusted (based on personal opinion only) and your advice was like gold to Chris and I. Your initial approach was professional, friendly, honest and efficient. You always were prompt and positive with our open house inspections and always maintained our privacy and trust to have you in our home with 'strangers'. You have supported Chris and i from the start to the finish and constantly provided us with feedback via excellent communication. We really can't thank you enough for everything you have done. We can however give you a small token of our appreciation through this bottle of wine. It is personally made with lots of love and bottled from the grapes on Chris's parents vineyard.

Congratulations on your decision to open your own Real Estate business in Bendigo.

It is hard to believe that it is almost 12 months since you old our house in Vine Street, and take this opportunity on behalf of Rachael and myself to again thank you for you professional and efficient endeavours in this regard.

We chose you personally to market our house, based largely on the overwhelmingly favourable impression you had given us as buyers looking for our new house. We had a strong sense of what we were looking for, and your manner was inviting and reassuring, never troubled by our demands.

You were certainly not the only agent who seemed enthusiastic about the house we were selling, but our meeting with you convinced us that our expectation was realistic and that you were there for the sale, not just the marketing and commission. You kept us informed of what was happening told us when people were shown through the house and gave feedback from each visit.

Originally known as Sandhurst, the name Bendigo originated from a world famous bare knuckled boxer William “Abednigo” Thompson, shepherd on the Ravenswood run near Bendigo.
He lived in his hut on a creek which flowed through the valley where gold was found. It is believed that this shepherd’s nickname “Abednigo” lent his name to this rich goldfield. Bendigo was proclaimed a city in 1871.
Like many of the towns across Central Victoria, Bendigo owes its origins to the gold rushes of the 19th century. In the 1880s Bendigo was the richest city in the world, 22 million ounces of gold has been discovered in Bendigo since 1851, around 9 billion dollars by today’s standard.… more
