After advertising privately and having no luck we decided to ask Simon Jago from LJ Hooker to try and sell our property for us.  Simon gave us an appraisal of the property and was right on target with what we wanted for it and from that moment on, nothing we asked of him was too much trouble.  He had a buyer within two weeks of advertising and on the third week we had a second buyer.  On week four we had an unconditional contract that exceeded our expectations.  From the first contact with Simon we were kept up to date with all proceedings.   Selling a house is said to be one of the most stressful experiences in life but I can honestly say that I had no anxious moments and it was a very smooth process.  Simon has a professional approach, is extremely supportive to the vendor whilst making sure the buyer is also happy; which was also important to me, as I wanted a buyer who loved my property like I did.  His calming influence made this experience a pleasurable one and he has restored my faith in real estate agents.  He would be my first call if wanting to buy or sell a home again.

Thank you for our gift! Damien and I found Kim Dougan to be more like an old friend than pushy as we'd experienced with other salespeople. She is the most professional/friendly/excellent sales lady we have come across. We overall liked the service at L.J. Hooker much more than the rest and in the future would only want to work with Kim.

L.J. Hooker Devonport is involved in many community activites.  Mr Hooker Bear often comes to visit and attends various activities within the community.

For the past few years all staff have supported the Spreyton School  Apple Festival with Mr Hooker Bear  visiting and giving sweets and balloons to children.  They enjoy having their photograph taken with Mr Hooker Bear and often call into the office to pick up copies.

We have also attend the Teddy Fly In with Mr Hooker Bear judging the Best Teddy Bear Competition.  Lots of children turn up with their favourite bear and kite.

The annual Taste the Harvest on the banks of the Mersey River is a highlight of Devonport's calendar.  Mr Hooker Bear and all our staff attend and help out in the Children's Activity area with sweets, balloons and colouring in competitions.

Mr Hooker Bear is also a regular attendee at our auctions along with some sizzling sausages.
