Gympie Locality Guide

On the Bruce Highway 172 km north of Brisbane and 95 metres above sea level, lies Gympie.
It is the central town of the Cooloola Shire and has a population of around 17,000. It is the centre of the Mary River Valley district that produces beef cattle, tropical fruits and dairy products.
