This office was one of the first country L.J. Hooker franchises to open. The office was originally established in 1916 as John Deegan & Co. and joined the L.J. Hooker organisation in 1972. The current Principal, Mr. Paul Deegan, represents the third generation to own the office.

The Lismore office has been in its present location since 1940. The office has built up an enviable reputation for honesty, integrity,reliability, and more recently technological superiority.
