Location Description
Our Local knowledge in the Pilbara Region is second to none & as one of the oldest established Agencies (1993) in Pilbara Real Estate we have sound relationships & communications that stretch throughout the populated Towns in our areas of operation.
The Pilbara Region is the Nation’s economic heartbeat & Karratha is the “Powerhouse of the Nation”. With a current population of 15,000 permanents & 6000 FIFO it is a Town humming with progress. In a few short years it along with Port Hedland (200kms North) will become a City of the North with projections that the population will rise to 50,000 by 2025.
We are surrounded by large infrastructure projects both producing, processing & exporting immense mineral wealth to markets in Australia & worldwide. On our doorstop is Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Fertilisers, Salt, Iron Ore, Nickel & Aqua Carotene to name the major minerals. We host one of the world’s largest bulk tonnage Ports and are constantly seeing the longest Trains in the world sweep past our landscape carrying Iron Ore to market.

Attractions
Our Tourism Industry is not left behind either & we are the Gateway to some of the best natural wonders the Nation has to offer. Within striking distance you can visit the Burrup Peninsula home to huge mining infrastructure nestling in concert with Mans oldest Petroglyths the Burrup Rock Art. Some of these are thousands of years old. There is also modern mans influence in the shape of the old Port of Cossack, first settled in 1865 and home to Western Australia’s first commercial Pearl Operations. Now a Historic Ghost Town with fine restored buildings it is worth a visit on any day. Only ten minutes away by car is the former Port of Point Samson, now a tidy residential node with a fishing harbor and restaurants and fine swimming beaches.
Nearby is the equally Historic Town of Roebourne which is still a thriving place of residence and the entry point to the Harding Dam and Port Hedland and the Kimberley Region.
Inland there are sights to see such as Millstream an Oasis in the desert 110 kms from Karratha, with fine swimming holes, a small camping area and Indigenous Guides to tell the stories of the past intertwined with the present day and the future.
Further on in Tom Price 320 kms from Karratha sits the Karijini National Park a wonder with some of the world’s oldest rock formations from the birth of civilisation, a tour of the Indigenous Interpretive Centre is a must as are the simply awesome spellbinding Gorges.
