With the birth of our second child, my husband and I had finally outgrown our first home, our Camperdown terrace that we had bought in 1997. To the Manager LJ Hooker Newtown I would like to thank Brett Foran for his work in selling our house at 11 Stafford Street Stanmore. He made a positive impression on me when I first met him when I inspected another property in the area which he was marketing. I had discussions to list the property with other agents in the area who had been working in the local market for longer than Brett, though Brett stood out for his interest and keenness in pursuing our property for listing with him.  In particular he provided a written report with comparative sales in the area (which I might add was far more accurate, informative and useful than a Valuation Report which we had recently obtained!). Brett provided informative advice as to the best method of sale for our property so we were confident in making our decision to put the property to auction.  During the marketing campaign he provided extensive feed back as to prospective purchasers who had inspected the property and he clearly put in a great deal of time and effort in contacting and following up all parties who had inspected the property and providing weekly written reports as to the results of such contact. In addition we had tenants in the property who previously had very negative experiences with other agents during a sales campaign for a different property.  Initially the tenants said that they wanted to be present at all times when the property was being inspected, a position which I could understand, though concerned me in terms of potentially deterring purchasers. However after meeting Brett the tenants formed an extremely positive relationship with him which obviously assisted the  marketing campaign considerably. I found Brett professional, reliable and informative and most importantly he demonstrated integrity, both with us as vendors and in his dealings with purchasers, a quality which I value in commercial matters.
