App makes buying and selling easier
LJ Hooker’s app for smart iPhones and iPads has been upgraded to make buying and selling easier and more informative.
Since LJ Hooker launched its app in January, users have been using Visual Recognition – VR – CODE to access property details directly, eliminating the need for lengthy web browsing. By simply photographing a property image with a VR CODE on a For Sale sign or magazine advertisement, users can access the website detailing the property’s features, form of sale and contacts.
But recently, LJ Hooker increased its VR CODE potential so users can access videos of properties on their phones. This function allows a virtual tour of a property at any time of the day. For instance, if you’re walking down the street to an appointment and a property catches your eye, simply photograph the image of the house on the marketing collateral and you’re treated to an inside virtual tour at your convenience.
Additionally, the VR CODE has been updated to allow users to access the details of selling agents, their specialities and other properties they’re listing.
LJ Hooker has been leading the real estate industry’s advancements in app technology, all of which make the process of buying or selling your home an easier and more informative experience.
In the wake of the VR CODE being launched in January, the LJ Hooker app was downloaded 2500 times that month alone.
Buyers and sellers now generally seem to be very tech savvy. Eighty six per cent of smartphone users look for local information on their smart phones with 88 per cent taking action as a result.
Smart phone and tablet app use is rapidly growing among real estate searchers.
App users and visits by mobile users to LJ Hooker’s webpages have grown to 750,000 in the two months since LJ Hooker launched its mobile sites last June.
LJ Hooker successfully prepared its VR CODE technology for the Android Operating System which was released late last month.
