Australian of the Year headlines LJ Hooker's international conference
LJ Hooker has assembled a dynamic schedule of speakers, headlined by 2016 Australian of the Year and former Australian Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Retired David Morrison AO, for its international convention in Cairns on August 14-16.
LJ Hooker’s Summit16 is the leading real estate group’s international showcase event, revealing its blueprint and planned innovations for the coming 12 months. About 800 franchise owners, residential and commercial property agents, property investment managers, loan finance specialists and industry partners from around Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, India and China attend the annual event.
Lieutenant General Morrison will lead the conference’s theme, The Courage to Create Change.
As the current Chair of the Diversity Council Australia, David will discuss leadership, the challenges to change and how individuals can determine if they’re achieving everything possible in their professional and private lives.
He headlines a program at Summit16 covering all aspects of business, personal and professional motivation, the latest in industry technology, the importance of customer experience and winning culture.
Other speakers include: growth and change specialist Dominic Thurbon; digital veteran Steve Carroll from REA Group; head of real estate at the Macquarie Bank, Dan Evans and the inspirational Jacqui Cooper, Australia’s most successful competitive aerial skier ever.
They will be joined by LJ Hooker network leading agents and business owners such as Vivien Yap, John McManus, Matthew Herbert, Nicole Hintz and Nick Ploubidis alongside Louis Carrigg from Barry Plant .
LJ Hooker’s Head of Customer Experience, Leanne Howard, said Summit16 had become recognised as the industry’s most innovative network showcase.
“At LJ Hooker we recognise the need to be exposed to business expertise and thought leadership outside our industry to gain competitive advantage and greater insights into how we can be fearless in adapting to change”, said Ms Howard.
“We are firmly focussed on creating the ultimate customer experience by finding ways to make our customers’ journey as easy as possible and nurturing relationships beyond the property transaction. This is the key message in many of the conference sessions.”
Additionally, Summit16 will also have influencers from real estate, wider business and LJ Hooker’s own network innovators who are breaking down the changes affecting our industry and the pathway forward.
“With our southern and western networks in the grip of chilly winter, holding the event in Cairns has allowed us to also schedule plenty of entertainment so guests can enjoy the warm, outdoor tropical setting that Far North Queensland offers,” Ms Howard concluded.
Summit16 also includes a gala dinner where LJ Hooker’s World Champions in business operations, sales, property management and finance categories, as well as the network’s top international auctioneer, will be recognised.
A number of these prestige awards have customer satisfaction as the key criteria as LJ Hooker recognise the significant role this plays in its business growth and strategic development.
One lucky Australian LJ Hooker network member will also walk away with the keys to a brand new $93,000 Audi Avant 2.0TFSI Quattro and four runners up will receive a three-month lease of an Audi A4 Avant. Entries were gained from varied performance metrics during LJ Hooker’s EOFY national marketing campaign, which ran during May and June.
