Property investors on the lookout for a lucrative purchase in the mining rich state of Western Australia will be interested in the release of 20 residential lots in Broome North.
Announcing the land release today (September 20), lands minister Brendon Grylls said the residential properties will provide prospective home buyers and investors greater opportunities to purchase affordable real estate in the region.
The latest land release at Waranyjarri Estate, which comprises 16 single residential lots and four duplex lots, is in close proximity to education and recreation facilities.
Targeting first time buyers, prices for the single lots start at $159,000, while the duplex lots begin at $275,000.
"These very reasonable prices demonstrate the government is committed to providing affordable land in a region where, not too long ago, reasonable priced land was hard to come by," Mr Grylls explained.
"As a further incentive for newcomers to the housing market, the five lowest priced lots are reserved for first homebuyers."
There are also limited single residential lots and house and land packages available in other stages of the Waranyjarri Estate, as well as in stage four of Januburu Six Seasons Estate.
Construction works are underway on an additional 99 lots at the estate, as part of stages nine and ten of the Waranyjarrri Waranyjarri development.
