LJ Hooker's appraisal campaign in the first quarter of the year has generated exceptional results and boosted listings across its Australian offices, according to the real estate group.

Christopher Mourd, LJ Hooker Head of Real Estate, said the network's figures show that from January to March this year the number of appraisals across its 550 Australian offices increased by a significant 22 per cent compared to the same period last year.

"These appraisals are the start of the selling process so following a successful conversion from appraisal to listing in due course we're in good stead to satisfy pent up demand, especially in markets like Sydney and Melbourne," he said.

The appraisal campaign was designed to encourage property owners who were considering selling in first half of 2015 to have a home appraisal with LJ Hooker and enjoy the chance to win one million Qantas Points.

Five winners are now planning their dream holiday, or holidays, using their one million Qantas Points. The winners were drawn from the offices of LJ Hooker Wyong (NSW), LJ Hooker City Residential (WA), LJ Hooker Gawler (SA), LJ Hooker Wynyard (TAS) and LJ Hooker Byron Bay (NSW).

The long-running 14-year partnership between LJ Hooker and Qantas provides mutually beneficial results for the two iconic Australian brands.

The lure of winning one million Qantas Points proving an enticing to be a great incentive for property owners when choosing a real estate agent. In addition to the latest appraisal campaign, vendors can earn 20,000 Qantas Points when they exclusively list and sell their residential or commercial property with an LJ Hooker office all year long.

LJ Hooker Head of Marketing, Heather Hilton, said LJ Hooker's exclusive relationship with Qantas gives the real estate group a competitive edge in terms of sales and marketing.

"The success of this campaign in terms of appraisals and listings confirms the importance of our well established relationships with key companies like Qantas," said Ms Hilton.

"This is what being part of one of Australia's largest and most recognisable brands is all about in terms of offering customers incentives and rewards for engaging their local LJ Hooker agent.

"In terms of marketing support for a campaign of this scope, offices had access to three different creatives to use across online, print and direct mail marketing initiatives, keeping their marketing 'fresh' and interesting.

"To have access to this marketing material to boost listings in the first quarter of the New Year provides a strong start to the year and gives them another point of difference over their competitors."
