Leading real estate network LJ Hooker has addressed the changing research behaviours of consumers by launching a new app which places the details of all residential properties at users’ fingertips.


Head of Marketing, Heather Hilton, said the LJ Hooker Property Data App was introduced to provide convenience to consumers who no longer confine their research activities to the family computer at home.


“A user could be walking to work, the shops or the park, and literally look up information on the properties they pass along the way,’’ said Ms Hilton.


“We sit with iPads in front of the television, scroll through smartphones waiting at the bus stop; information needs to be mobile, easy to use and be readily at our fingertips.


“The app allows buyers to take a virtual tour through any residential property and find out its size, even if it’s off the market.’’


The Property Data App is the third app introduced by LJ Hooker. The network has already released its own company app, and the Mr Hooker Bear Letter Pop app – a family-focused game which encourages learning.


Ms Hilton said the app’s functionality would also create leads for agents.


“It’s a valuable engagement tool for our office and agents, enabling LJ Hooker to get in touch with consumers once they request a property report.


The LJ Hooker Property Data App is available for free through the App Store, Google Play.
