LJ Hooker looks to national growth with key appointment

By Sarah Lefebvre on Apr 05 2017

LJ Hooker has bolstered its Business Development Team with the key appointment of industry veteran Jason Rose to head national coaching and office development.

Mr Rose, who over a 30-year career has called more than 3,000 auctions, returns to LJ Hooker where he previously held network sales and auctioneer roles. A specialist in online lead generation, Mr Rose’s appointment comes as the brand embarks on its 2020 vision to accelerate the industry’s digital transformation.

In the role of National Business Growth Coach, Mr Rose will guide offices in the development and implementation of growth strategies across sales and property management; lead the network’s national training and coaching program; and utilise his unique insights into data mining and lead generation across sales and property management.

LJ Hooker’s Network Chief Graeme Hyde said the appointment represented a restructure for the brand in how it delivered optimum service to network members.

“This is a new appointment for LJ Hooker and we’re excited that Jason – an all-round real estate specialist who’s sought-out by industry bodies to share his thought-leadership – has backed our vision,” said Mr Hyde.

“He’s a consummate auctioneer, driven sales and property management growth across numerous independents and networks and his knowledge of enhancing digital leads complements LJ Hooker’s vision to lead digital advancements in Australia.

During a decade at Queensland-based Rental Express, Mr Rose directed a growth strategy which consistently, and organically, secured 800 to 900 new managements per annum without leveraging a large sales business for leads.

Mr Rose said he was excited about strategic vision of LJ Hooker.

“I’ve seen and embraced the benefits of the digital transformation across the industry and marketplace,” said Mr Rose. “I’m excited at LJ Hooker’s intent to take their network on the journey to future-proof their businesses though online and offline methods.”
