Australia’s number one real estate network, LJ Hooker has announced the appointment of a national award winning business development manager to its growing national recruitment team.

 

Scott Dolce has joined the LJ Hooker corporate team in the role of Franchise Development Manager tasked with meeting the network’s ambitious goal to grow the business by another 150 agents.

 

“We’re looking beyond our industry as part of our national strategy to attract high calibre candidates to LJ Hooker, focusing on non-real estate sectors with complementary sales skills,” said Mr Dolce.

 

“It’s an exciting initiative that I am very pleased to be a part of. We know that there is a significant opportunity for people from non-traditional real estate backgrounds to enter the industry and really flourish.”

 

Another important element of Mr Dolce’s role will be bringing on new offices in a number of key locations across the country.

 

“There is a lot of opportunity for expansion in Queensland particularly,” he said.

 

“It is a natural step for LJ Hooker to strength our presence in the area, especially with the market strengthening off the back of low-interest rates, infrastructure improvements and affordability.

 

“There are enough listing opportunities to support a larger LJ Hooker sales force throughout Queensland.”

 

Mr Dolce joins LJ Hooker after five years as one of McGrath Estate Agents best Business Development Managers, winning multiple accolades in his time with the group.

 

Mr Dolce said he planned to hit the ground running, already talking to key agents in a number of target locations.

 

“Helping people secure a new business is the most fulfilling part of what I do,” he said.
 

“Similarly to a real estate transaction, where you’re building a relationship with the vendor, I am building - what can be quite an in-depth - relationship, and working with them across months to achieve their goal of owning their own business, or expanding an existing office. It is very rewarding work.”
