Expansion plans are underway for leading real estate group LJ Hooker with the announcement that a raft of new offices will launch on February 1.

LJ Hooker will welcome nine new offices next month, adding to the 16 offices which joined the group since the financial year commenced in July.

The new offices come off the back of two major marketing initiatives including the brand’s return to the small screen with their Make Dreams Happen™ advertisement and the network’s New Year campaign that encourages potential buyers to have their property appraised by an LJ Hooker agent for their chance to go into the draw to win a share of $100,000.

LJ Hooker Head of Real Estate, Christopher Mourd said the introduction of the new offices were part of the group’s ongoing, strategic growth plan.

“LJ Hooker has always been selective in our growth strategy. As such, we’re confident that the new markets we’re entering are positioned for strong, long-term activity,” Mr Mourd said.

“Finding the right candidate is also paramount to our growth plan. LJ Hooker attracts quality performers who are motivated to be champions of our network’s culture and innovations.”

The nine new offices include four from Queensland comprising Paddington, Banyo in Brisbane’s north, Graceville | Chelmer and South Brisbane.

While in New South Wales Mittagong and Canterbury will commence trading as new residential sales offices and LJ Hooker Commercial will introduce Commercial Canterbury and Commercial North West. In the ACT LJ Hooker Woden will open its doors the same day.

According to Mr Mourd Queensland is a major focus centre for the brands growth this year.

“There is a lot of opportunity for expansion for us in Queensland. It is a natural step for LJ Hooker to strength our presence in the area, especially with the market strengthening off the back of low-interest rates, infrastructure improvements and affordability,” he said.

In December, the group also saw a number of notable inclusions to the network, including LJ Hooker Green Square/Waterloo which opened under the guidance of Brendon and Diana Clark. Mr Mourd said the Green Square/Waterloo office was a major coup for LJ Hooker and the move into the area reflects the network's growth strategy.
