Top agent Adam Gould and his team at Gould Estate Agents have set themselves up for a record year having joined real estate powerhouse, LJ Hooker Property Centre.

The move will further cement LJ Hooker Property Centre as Brisbane Bayside’s leading agency and see its already dominant 30 per cent market share continue to climb.

LJ Hooker Property Centre Managing Director, Iain Carmichael, said he’s pleased to have welcomed top agent Adam Gould.

Mr Carmichael said the opportunity for Gould Estate Agents to join his team further magnified the brand’s residential sales offering.

“We saw an opportunity to create a stronger agency and add value to our customers. We’re always looking for new opportunities, but only if they make sense from a strategic and culture standpoint, and we found that Adam had built a similar company culture to ours with a tight knit, family feel.

“Having an agent of Adam’s calibre, who is ingrained in the community, join the team, further enables us to provide exceptional customer service experiences.”

Mr Gould said seeing the same excellence in real estate at LJ Hooker Property Centre made it clear that the move was the right choice.

“The timing was right for me to take a step back from the operational side of business and focus on what I love most, servicing my clients. Iain and I discussed the benefits and it was clear that we were aligned.

“The innovative systems at LJ Hooker Property Centre are like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It supports agents in providing a seamless real estate experience to their clients; and responding to our clients’ needs, which is imperative in our shifting real estate market.

“By joining LJ Hooker Property Centre, my team and I will have greater efficiencies, which will give me back valuable time to spend with my clients to maximise outcomes.

“It also means together we can take more market share, faster,” Mr Gould said.

Stephen Mutton, LJ Hooker State Director for Queensland, said: “We are seeing an increased level of enquiry from independent offices looking to merge into our larger franchises, like we’ve seen in Cleveland.

“This allows for an already successful sales business to reduce the costs of running a business.

“Adam has shown confidence not only in the Carmichaels as leaders, but also the LJ Hooker brand and franchise offering.

“It is our focus to assist in our offices’ growth and we believe our dedication is our clear point of difference.”
