The Humpty Dumpty Foundation and LJ Hooker Newport, in association with the LJ Hooker Foundation, have answered the call of Royal North Shore Hospital’s frontline with the donation of an AirVo2 Humidifier valued at $2,950 to the Child and Adolescent Ward.

Humidification is important for babies and children suffering from respiratory problems, such as bronchitis, pneumonia and cystic fibrosis. Humidified air and oxygen helps them breathe restfully and clears the chest for ongoing treatment and recovery.

LJ Hooker Newport director, Gordon Spring, said: “In partnership with the LJ Hooker Foundation, we’re thrilled to be able to assist the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and support a local hospital in need directly with our fundraising.

“At our charity auction, when we could freely get together pre-COVID, we were able to bring together our amazing community and raise vital funds to make a positive difference in people’s lives,” he said.

“It is with thanks to the generosity of donors like LJ Hooker Newport, and the ongoing support of the LJ Hooker Foundation, that the Humpty Dumpty Foundation can urgently respond to the wishes from the frontline and make a real difference to hospitals and healthcare services across Australia. Now more than ever, hospitals and healthcare services need Humpty’s help and it is important we continue our critical work of providing essential medical equipment to metropolitan and regional areas across New South Wales to ease the load on our frontline professionals,” said Paul Francis OAM, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
