Spring sprouts new agencies for LJ Hooker

LJ Hooker is taking growth into the spring selling season, opening seven new residential offices across four states from September 1.

In New South Wales, LJ Hooker will open new offices in Dapto, Nowra, Rockdale and Wauchope, while also introducing new teams to Victoria (Grantville), Queensland (Mackay) and South Australia (Plympton).
Additionally, LJ Hooker will open a commercial agency in St George, and introduce a sister-agency, Harveys Henderson Rentals, in New Zealand.

LJ Hooker Head of Network Development, Ben Mitchell, said the network growth was on the back of introducing five new offices in the last month.

“Spring presents a great opportunity for business owners to introduce their brand to the market with activity being traditionally high,” he said. “But beyond the changing weather, the calibre and experience of new applicants we’re working with underlines the unique franchise offering and vision we’ve created. In the current environment, we’re fielding a lot of interest on the back of our brand strength.”

LJ Hooker welcomes the new operators on September 1 as it rolls out its innovative online and offline spring campaign.

In the campaign’s offline component, one person who has a market update with LJ Hooker will be chosen, at random, every day from September 1 until November 30 to win $1000. At the end of spring, an owner who lists their property with LJ Hooker will win back their agent commission, valued up to $15,000.

In the online strategy, LJ Hooker has teamed up with Facebook, digital specialist Tiger Pistol, and e-communications specialist Active Pipe to offer an industry-first $1 million digital and social media campaign.
Through an automated Facebook and Instagram advertising platform, LJ Hooker will amplify the profile of agents, listings and generate leads through advanced data targeting over the spring season.

Offices will also utilise the email marketing and nurturing platform, ActivePipe, to nurture prospects as part of the holistic, ‘best-in-breed’ strategy. They will also have the chance to activate standalone, stylised, SEO-rich websites for properties to enhance exposure during the peak listing period.

The digital and social media strategy was borne out of the brand’s digital innovation centre, LJX-Lab.
Mr Mitchell said LJ Hooker would continue to bring on new agencies in the latter part of 2017.

“We’re actively recruiting new development managers to accommodate the heightened interest in the brand and explore new, emerging markets,” he said.
