LJ Hooker launches its spring campaign on Friday (August 1) with interior designer and The Block judge, Darren Palmer, lending his expertise to the multi-channel media and engagement strategy.

The August to October campaign combines the market knowledge of LJ Hooker’s network of agents with Darren’s industry-leading design insights.

 

LJ Hooker CEO Grant Harrod said the campaign will hit TV screens with a new television commercial starring Darren Palmer on Channel 9 during 60 Minutes this Sunday.

 

Property owners who receive a sale or rental appraisal until October 31 have a choice to receive one of two DVDs starring Darren Palmer; ‘Styling to sell’, or ‘Styling to stay’.

 

“Through the cycle of ownership, people are generally interested in one of two things: how to present their home or investment for a premium sale, or how to improve it for lifestyle and aesthetics,’’ said Mr Harrod.

 

“On The Block, we watch Darren critique the efforts of contestants, but the DVDs outline Darren’s own preferences and tips in making the most of a property, room-by-room. The DVDs speak to the two distinct styling behaviours.

 

“The DVDs complement the market knowledge agents provide during their appraisal, providing an all-inclusive experience for consumers to best improve the worth and functionality of their properties.’’ 

The launch of the campaign strategically coincides with the newest season of The Block returning to Channel Nine. Additionally, the traditional spring selling season approaches as sales of properties in some cities are outnumbering new properties coming to the market.

 

The previous campaign increased year on year sale appraisal figures for the LJ Hooker network by 58%.

 

The spring campaign incorporates television, online and print advertising, as well as a suite of local area marketing tools for offices to utilise.
