Strategic new appointment to drive LJ Hooker’s expansion plans

aydenLJ Hooker has strengthened its growth team with the appointment of a new Growth Manager as the iconic brand looks to expand its presence in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Ayden Vojnic joins the real estate network from Aussie Home Loans, where he held senior roles across recruitment and broker performance. He brings more than 15 years of experience across project management, enterprise sales, recruitment and stakeholder management.

“New growth is where my passion lies, and both finance and real estate are very interrelated industries, so I am very excited about this new opportunity,” he said.

“LJ Hooker has incredible brand recognition, and its market presence is a key driver in being able to recruit new business. It has such a strong reputation of trust, and the fact that it is a homegrown Australian-born enterprise also adds to the appeal.”

Head of Growth, Jarita Rayasam, welcomed Mr Vojnic, who will focus on development and conversion opportunities as part of the Australian and New Zealand strategic growth team.

“Ayden is known for building strong pipelines, improving processes and delivering results, which is integral for brand expansion in our targeted areas,” she said.

“Through his work with Aussie Home Loans, he knows what makes a successful franchisee and can identify candidates who align with our values, culture and business model. This appointment is an important investment for us, making sure our network is supported with high-impact expertise.

“Growing and strengthening the LJ Hooker network remains a key priority, and our focus is on attracting the right operators into the right markets, people who share our values and who want to build sustainable, high-performing businesses.

“We’re backing that growth with practical support, proven systems and targeted investment, so our franchisees can win locally and deliver consistently great customer outcomes,” she said.

The LJ Hooker network is focused on a franchise uplift as the brand counts down to its 100-year birthday celebrations. Mr Vojnic will concentrate on South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory markets.

Having grown up in Port Lincoln before moving to Adelaide, he understands that a different recruitment approach is needed for both city and regional offices. He has also worked extensively throughout Western Australia, where he established new offices for Aussie Home Loans.

“It is about understanding the markets, the differences and doing research on the individual catchment areas before pitching,” he said.

Like many Australians, Mr Vojnic said LJ Hooker has been a familiar and trusted name for as long as he can remember. His first personal experience was leasing a rental property as a young university student through an LJ Hooker office.

“They provided my first stability and basis as an adult, and I remember putting up a post on Facebook, saying, ‘Yes, LJ Hooker, you are the best, you have given me a place to live’,” he said.

“Now it has come full circle, and I am working for them, which is an exciting opportunity.”
