LJ Hooker gives its agents a runway into spring

LJ Hooker, in partnership with Qantas Frequent Flyer, recently launched its latest campaign to drive customer engagement and lead conversion in the lead up to the competitive spring selling season.

The three-month campaign is a pre-spring season giveaway offering Australian homeowners the chance to win a share of one million Qantas Points by receiving a property appraisal from their local LJ Hooker agent.

LJ Hooker is Qantas Frequent Flyer’s only real estate partner. The relationship spans almost two decades, and, in that time, LJ Hooker customers have received over 1.2 billion Qantas Points.

Ruth Trewhella, LJ Hooker Chief Operating Officer, said the giveaway will help fill agent pipelines before spring and lay the groundwork for strong lead conversion.

“Every month we generate upwards of 600 leads for our offices, representing a potential GCI of over $1.4 million.  

“We know from previous campaigns that giveaways can successfully generate more appraisal requests; and we saw the advantage in doing this during the winter months leading up to spring to capture homeowners in that consideration phase, particularly as most markets are performing strongly. 

“By partnering with Qantas Frequent Flyer, as its only real estate partner, we’re incentivising prospects to move from considering selling to taking that first step in their journey – getting their property appraised and understanding its worth.

“Once our agents are in the living room, they can then focus on doing what they do best: building the relationship, listing and selling the home,” she said.

LJ Hooker’s pre-spring campaign will take a full digital approach, including Qantas Frequent Flyer branding, which complements the real estate group’s ‘always on’ digital lead generation strategy.

“In the last 12 months, the LJ Hooker brand has connected with over seven million Australians across the most frequently used consumer channels including Google, YouTube, Spotify and social media.

“Our pre-spring campaign will see us continuing to connect with them, so our brand stays top of mind, via a curated suite of digital and print marketing assets that are quintessentially Australian and reflective of both brands.

LJ Hooker’s pre-spring one million Qantas Points giveaway will end on 31 August, with seven winners across NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, SA, WA & QLD/NT selected at random.
