Cathie Crampton joins LJ Hooker in newly-created Head of Property Management ANZ role

Cathie CramptonIconic Australian real estate brand LJ Hooker is pleased to announce Cathie Crampton (pictured) has joined as its new Head of Property Management Australia and New Zealand.

Cathie brings unmatched experience and expertise to this role, including two decades in strategic property management leadership positions, most recently as National Head of Network PM Performance & Growth at Belle Property.

In this newly-created role spanning LJ Hooker’s franchise network across Australia and New Zealand, Cathie will be responsible for growing the property management portfolio, profit margins and skills capabilities.

“I’m thrilled to be joining LJ Hooker as it approaches 100 years in the real estate industry,” Cathie said. “LJ Hooker has traditionally held an industry-leading presence in the property management market in Australia and New Zealand. I want to reinvigorate this legacy and create lasting value for agents and investors.

“I was drawn to this role through LJ Hooker’s desire to position property management strategically. It’s an exciting partnership.

“I’m looking forward to working with franchisees, agency property managers and office staff to grow their capabilities, implement our group strategy and, ultimately, provide the highest levels of service to investors and tenants.”

Welcoming Cathie to LJ Hooker was CEO Christine Mikhael.

“We are ecstatic to have a candidate of Cathie’s calibre joining our organisation to head this vital part of our business,” Christine said. “We have bold ambitions for property management; I know Cathie’s dedication, experience and strategic leadership will be transformational.”

Cathie joins LJ Hooker at an exciting time for the organisation. Earlier in 2025, LJ Hooker reset its brand identity and introduced The Difference platform to set it apart in a crowded marketplace. In 2028, LJ Hooker will celebrate a centenary of operations to mark 100 years since Sir Leslie Hooker opened his first real estate office in Maroubra, east Sydney, in 1928.

“A centenary of operations is an incredible legacy,” continued Cathie. “I intend to make a difference by leveling up LJ Hooker’s property management business and the organisation overall.”
