LJ Hooker has further expanded its network on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with the opening of LJ Hooker Caloundra and Aura.

The new agency will be headed up by three principals – experienced agent Jamie O’Brien, aged 25 – and her veteran real estate parents Jo O’Brien and Paul O’Brien. Together they will offer a full suite of real estate services across residential properties including sales and property management.

The family-run owned and operated business, who pride themselves of being able to blend ‘traditional real estate customer service with new technology’ have made the switch from Ray White Beerwah, which they operated for 12 years, and Ray White Aura, which was opened for seven months.

“LJ Hooker is a trusted name in real estate with a rich history which has spanned generations and after meeting with other franchise owners, it just felt like the right brand for our own business,” Ms O’Brien said.

“Together we have 60 years combined real estate experience, we embrace new technologies and upskill constantly through training.

“The ability to have access to LJ Hooker’s innovative systems and resources was very attractive to us. We treat every listing as if it was our own property and having established systems and ongoing support will enable us to deliver quality customer service.”

Caloundra, famous for its surfing beaches, has a huge diversity of housing styles with entry level retirement living, units and apartments for holidaymakers and permanent residences.

Beach front properties are priced from $500,000 up to $5 million. Aura offers a range of dwellings, from townhouses and duplexes starting in the low $600,000 range to larger executive style homes from $1 million.

Both are also attractive to young families looking for affordability and lifestyle with quality schools, a range of shopping centres and a wide range of amenities including an upcoming sports complex. The new Bells Creek arterial road will connect the region to the Bruce Highway making the trip to Brisbane 10 to 15 minutes shorter, adding to its appeal.

LJ Hooker Group’s Head of Network Performance Stephen Mutton said the new Caloundra and Aura office is well-positioned as a major player in the established and emerging markets on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

“I’m thrilled to welcome the O’Brien family into our own LJ Hooker family which is backed by 94 years of history,” Mr Mutton said.

“Strategically it is important for us as a real estate network to have offices located in such high growth areas, such the one we are seeing emerging in and around Caloundra and Aura.

“When talented teams choose to open an office with us, they know they are backed by a national head office team who is able to provide marketing, growth strategy, lead generation and administrative support.

“They can also benefit from cutting-edge technology to fuel efficiency and effectiveness such as LJ Hooker’s industry-first Vendor App, which allows agents to communicate in real-time with their clients.”

The LJ Hooker Caloundra and Aura office will also focus on suburbs such as Kings Beach, Dicky Beach, Shelly Beach, Moffat Beach, Pelican Waters and Little Mountains with a number of upcoming listings.
