Almost one year on from joining LJ Hooker as its Head of Growth, Jarita Rayasam (pictured) is seeing her new strategic direction and hard work pay dividends, with multiple new offices opening, renewed franchise agreements and a burgeoning team as proof points.
“I was attracted to LJ Hooker’s vision to leverage scale into profitability for its franchise network,” Jarita said. “Working with experienced and supportive executives like our CEO Christine Mikhael, I’ve relished the opportunity to engage with agents and explain the LJ Hooker Difference.”
Since taking the helm of LJ Hooker’s strategy in October 2024, Jarita has seen LJ Hooker cement its position in the market with new offices in Liverpool, Parramatta and Cabramatta in New South Wales; Mudgeeraba and Caboolture | Morayfield in Queensland; Sunbury and Paynesville | Lakes Entrance | Metung in Victoria; and Pokeno (in Waikato) and Auckland (LJ Hooker Southern Partners) in New Zealand.
Adding to this momentum, LJ Hooker Kingscliff in far northern New South Wales has welcomed two new operators and Victoria Park | Belmont in Western Australia has renewed its franchise agreement.
“It’s testament to our strategy, our service offering and The Difference brand reset that so many principals are choosing LJ Hooker,” continued Jarita. “And the exciting news is we have more new offices and renewals in the pipeline — I can’t wait to share those agreements with the industry.”
Speaking about her decision to renew her LJ Hooker Victoria Park | Belmont franchise agreement, principal Paula Lagrenade said, “We initially looked at a lot of franchises, and LJ Hooker stood out not only as the most trusted name in the industry, but it also offered the best systems.
“Over the years, we have experienced a network that fosters collaboration and shared successes among its business owners, so re-signing was a straightforward decision.”
Supporting Jarita in LJ Hooker’s expansion efforts is newly appointed Growth Manager Alex Trovato. Armed with a wealth of experience in the property market, Alex is responsible for identifying and recruiting top agents and agencies to join the LJ Hooker network.
